SCIRT is a unique collaboration between industry and research, involving the entire textiles value chain to push boundaries in order to create real change and support the transition to a circular fashion industry. The SCIRT project aims to demonstrate an entire textile-to-textile recycling system for discarded clothing, focusing on the recycling of natural and synthetic fibres, as well as fibre blends. The project also wants to enable conditions and supporting measures to facilitate the transition towards a circular system for apparel. During Fashion Talks, SCIRT will present intermediate results and host a workshop to explore the potential of true cost economics in the fashion industry.
