Stéphanie D'heygere

Belgian-born creative director Stéphanie D'heygere graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2009. In 2011, after assisting at an array of major fashion houses, she joined Maison Martin Margiela, where she became head of jewelry until 2015. Stéphanie then joined Dior as senior jewelry designer, before going freelance to make statement jewelry and accessories for Paris' new guard such as JACQUEMUS and Y/Project, as well as the renowned Parisian houses JEAN PAUL GAULTIER and COURREGES, whom she still collaborates with.

Simultaneously, she has been teaching in the Master of Arts in Fashion and Accessory Design at the Head Geneva University of Art and Design since 2015. Her eponymous accessories brand D'HEYGERE was launched during Paris Fashion Week in January 2018. It quickly garnered industry acclaim and won the 2018 ANDAM Accessories Prize for its unisex, inventive and thought-provoking pieces created in response to the current of daily life, balancing form and function with a focus on bold minimalism.

Stephanie D’heygere received the Jury prize at the 2022 Belgian Fashion Awards.
