Lisi Herrebrugh & Rushemy Botter

BOTTER founders Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter are known for blending Caribbean influences with Belgian craftsmanship and contemporary tailoring, creating a bold, inclusive, and socially conscious vision of luxury fashion.

Born in Curaçao and raised near Amsterdam, Rushemy Botter studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp under the mentorship of Walter Van Beirendonck and Dirk Van Saene. Amsterdam-born Lisi Herrebrugh, whose family roots are in the Dominican Republic, graduated cum laude from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute.

The duo launched BOTTER during their graduation year and quickly gained international recognition, winning several major awards including the Dries Van Noten Award, the Ann Demeulemeester Award, and the Grand Prix at the Festival d’Hyères in 2018. In 2022, they also won the Andam Grand Prize with their Fall 2022 collection, showcasing a forward-thinking vision for fashion.

From 2018 to 2022, they served as Creative Directors of Nina Ricci, debuting their first collection for the French maison during Paris Fashion Week. In 2026, they were appointed Creative Directors of G-Star.

The duo will join Mimma Viglezio for a conversation on the challenging decisions around funding and financing a fashion brand. Together, they will explore the delicate balance between staying true to your creative vision and securing the right support. The discussion will also explore the importance of collaborating strategically through meaningful partnerships that strengthen both creative and business impact.
