The Breakout sessions are talks in a more intimate setting for a select audience. Each time, three different breakout sessions has taken place simultaneously.

Since 2009 Kaat Debo is the managing DIRECTOR of MoMu, the fashion museum in Antwerp. For the museum she created more than 30 exhibitions. The last three years she managed a large-scale renovation and expansion of the museum. This fall and winter, she is initiating the ‘Fashion 2.021 Antwerp – Fashion/Conscious’ festival, spreading fashion culture through the city and beyond.
During her 20+ year career as a MODEL, Hannelore Knuts became known for her ability to shapeshift her moods, looks and sensitivity like a true chameleon. In a single breath she can transform from a legendary model to a caring mom or a mindfulness teacher.

Shayli Harrison & Muchaneta Kapfunde
Shayli Harrison is an Antwerp Fashion Department alumna and the founder of Mutani, a digital fashion unitive that produces digital fashion assets for wear in cyberspace. Muchaneta Kapfunde is the founder of FashNerd.com, a digital news site that focuses on the merger of fashion with technology. She is currently one of the leading influencers speaking and writing about the merger of fashion with technology.
Gert Kerkstoel is an entrepreneur/investor with participations in a few consumer businesses, amongst which LOCKWOOD AVENUE (skateboard and sneaker stores) and oona (lifestyle communication agency) in Antwerp. In his talk 'RETAIL COMMUNITY & Inner City Landscaping' Gert Kerkstoel has shared insights on the skateboarding and sneaker industry via the Lockwood-Avenue case and share an optimistic - maybe idealistic - vision on Antwerp Fashion District.
